INERIS and the different PREV'AIR partners cannot be held responsible for
the consequences of a wrong utilization / an erroneous interpretation of
the data available in the PREV'AIR system framework.
In particular, the air quality forecasts provided via PREV’AIR are
obtained from a numerical modelling process. They are thus flawed by
uncertainties relating to the status of scientific knowledge in the
field of the physics and chemistry of air pollution, as well as by
the quality of the input data required for the model’s operation.
Moreover, the calculated concentrations are mean concentrations,
that may be different from observed concentration data.
The "real time" observation maps are drawn based on measurement data
that may be adjusted later by the Official Air Quality Monitoring Associations , during the complete checking procedure.
