Available observation data

French observation data

Observation data carried out in France by the Official Air Quality Monitoring Associations (AASQA) are transmitted as a whole to ADEME. At the national level, ADEME is in charge of the management of air quality data bases, in complement to air quality data bases maintained locally by the AASQA. As an example, the BASTER data base, developed by ADEME, gathers in near real time the measurements carried out by the AASQA. A direct link is set up between BASTER and air quality models used in the PREV’AIR system.

European observation data

Observation data carried out in Europe are collected by INERIS directly by air quality monitoring bodies. These institutions are the following:

• ARPA-EMR, Regional Agency for the Protection of the Environment in Emilia-Romagna (Italy).
• ARPA-Piemonte, Regional Agency for the Protection of the Environment in Piemonte (Italy).
• UBA, Federal Agency for the Environment (Germany).
